Job Description Summary
In this role, the strategist will partner with the Supply Chain Development Strategy Leader on cross-functional initiatives & collaborate across the GE Vernova Supply Chain on devising the Voice of Customer, which includes Market Opportunities, Key Technologies & Capabilities as differentiators, network optimization aligned with global demand. This role will lead the deployment of the Next Gen strategy across the businesses. This will include stakeholder interviews, facilitating workshops, kaizen events, longer term projects management.
It is expected that this will be a very dynamic role as the GE Vernova Supply Chain Development organization grows and develops. Success in this role depends on effective partnership and collaboration with cross-functional GE Vernova leadership (e.g., business development, strategy, product lines, commercial teams) to consolidate operational insights and considerations into key initiatives (based on Voice of Customer, Make vs Buy strategy, Site Strategic Assessment and Robotics and Automation).

What impact you’ll make
We are seeking a Supply Chain Strategist to become a key member responsible for partnering with the Supply Chain Strategy Leader in deploying the Supply Chain Strategy framework across GE Vernova businesses.
The Next Generation Supply Chain Strategist will:
- Partner with GEV Supply Chain Strategy Leader on cross-functional initiatives & collaborate across the GE Vernova Supply Chain to deploy the Supply Chain strategy framework.
- Develop financial models (including sensitivity analysis) and capacity planning, to guide strategic decision-making.
- Partner with GE Vernova Business Development team on supply chain strategy to support business line vision & goals.
- Build and present business case to inform business supply chain decision making highlighting trade-offs such as: SIOP, capex, capacity, risk, efficiency, resiliency, flow, and sustainability by applying system optimization thinking.
- Deploy standard work for Voice of Customer, which includes Market Opportunities, Key Technologies & Capabilities as differentiators, and footprint aligned with global demand.
- Project manage, as needed, to support business-level strategic projects and NGSC development.
- Create standard capability matrix that can be adopted across Global Supply Chain
- Develop and lead the process for identifying strategic sites for growth potential, capital allocation needs and financial benefits to GEV.
- Collaborate with the GE Vernova Corporate Strategy Team to ensure key market trends & insights are captured and incorporated into the Voice of Customer process.
- Create and improve the standard work and strategy framework of the supply chain development team through data collection and analysis and closed feedback loop with cross-functional business teams.
- Champion and integrate GE Vernova values and Sustainability Framework into GEV Supply Chain Development standard practices.
What you’ll bring (Basic Job Requirments)
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance or Business or equivalent knowledge or experience.
- Strong experience of relevant Supply Chain, Finance, Lean, or Sourcing experience
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and working with and presenting to global stakeholders at senior level.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to ~50% of the time.
- Excellent communication (oral/written) experience, working and influencing cross-culturally in large, matrixed organizations.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills.
- Strong quantitative and data analysis skills
- Transformational change leader, who excels in change management.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to balance thought leadership, continuous learning, and improvement with demonstrated results.

Ce que vous allez accomplir
En tant que Supply Chain Strategist, vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec le responsable du développement de la stratégie de la chaîne d'approvisionnement. Votre objectif est de déployer notre cadre stratégique à travers les différentes lignes de métier de GE Vernova.
- Pilotage Stratégique : Déployer le cadre stratégique de la chaîne d'approvisionnement en collaborant avec les équipes transverses et les leaders de GE Vernova.
- Analyse et Planification : Développer des modèles financiers (incluant des analyses de sensibilité) et piloter la planification des capacités pour orienter les décisions stratégiques.
- Business Cases : Élaborer et présenter des dossiers commerciaux pour éclairer les décisions opérationnelles, en intégrant des paramètres clés comme les investissements (CAPEX), la gestion des risques, l'efficacité, la résilience et la durabilité.
- Voix du Client (VoC) : Déployer une méthodologie standardisée pour intégrer les opportunités de marché, les technologies clés et les capacités différenciantes dans notre empreinte industrielle mondiale.
- Développement de Processus : Créer et améliorer les outils de travail standard (standard work) pour le développement de la chaîne d'approvisionnement, en s'appuyant sur l'analyse de données et les retours d'expérience.
- Gestion de Projets : Piloter des projets stratégiques au niveau des business units et assurer le développement de l'organisation Supply Chain de nouvelle génération (NGSC).
Qualifications requises
- Formation : Diplôme universitaire (Bachelor) en Ingénierie, Supply Chain, Finance, Commerce ou équivalent. Note : Une formation académique formelle est un atout, mais nous privilégions avant tout votre expérience professionnelle et vos réalisations.
- Expérience : Une expérience significative dans les domaines de la Supply Chain, de la Finance, du Lean ou des Achats.
- Leadership : Expérience avérée dans la conduite de projets transversaux et la présentation devant des parties prenantes internationales de haut niveau.
- Aptitudes : Solides compétences en analyse quantitative, en leadership et une excellente capacité à influencer dans des organisations matricielles complexes.
- Mobilité : Disponibilité pour des déplacements professionnels à hauteur de 50 % du temps.
- Communication : Excellente maîtrise de la communication orale et écrite, avec une capacité à travailler dans un environnement multiculturel.
Qualifications souhaitées
- Master en Supply Chain ou MBA.
- Expérience préalable dans des programmes de leadership GE (OMLP, FMP, CAS).
- Expertise certifiée en Lean Management.
- Solides compétences en gestion de projet et amélioration des processus.
