Our client is a leading supply chain company in Vietnam who is looking for experienced talent to join their firm.

  • Lead business development and sales activities for international ocean freight services, with responsibility for driving revenue growth and expanding the company’s customer portfolio.
  • Develop and manage a strong pipeline of high-value prospects, with a primary focus on acquiring new local and regional customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities, open new accounts, and expand ocean freight volumes and services within existing customer accounts.
  • Develop competitive pricing proposals and customized ocean freight solutions that align with customer requirements and commercial objectives.
  • Monitor shipment profitability and P&L performance to ensure sustainable business growth and sound financial performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication, meetings, and ongoing account management.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Customer Service, and overseas or global partners to ensure smooth shipment execution and consistent service quality.
  • Conduct market research, monitor industry trends and competitor activities, and provide regular market updates and business reports to the Sales Director.
  • Drive sales execution, follow up on commercial opportunities, and ensure agreed sales targets and business development objectives are effectively pursued.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
  • More than 7 years of experience in the international ocean freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong sales and business development experience within the logistics or freight forwarding sector.
  • Good understanding of international ocean freight operations, pricing, shipping routes, customer requirements, and market practices.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of English. Chinese language capability is considered an advantage.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced working environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
