Role Description/Responsibilities:

Operationalizes the delivery function across the program, bringing a genuine understanding of how delivery works — the sequencing of activities, interplay between releases, and what it takes to move work through to completion. Accountable for translating that understanding into a well-run delivery system: status reporting, RAID management, dependency tracking, and the planning cadences that keep active releases on track and new releases set up correctly from the start. Works closely with the IP&D Lead and Release PMs to surface risks early, maintain a reliable picture of program health, and ensure planning reflects reality rather than lag. Leads a small team of analysts focused on the day-to-day execution of these functions.

Required Skills:

• Release planning — supports replanning for active releases when scope, timeline, or resourcing shifts; leads initial planning for new releases coming into the program, ensuring they are structured and baselined before execution begins

• Delivery system design and operationalization — puts the operational infrastructure in place (status reporting, RAID, dependency tracking, ADO tooling) so the program runs consistently and reliably

• Status reporting ownership — ensures accurate, timely reporting packs are produced each week, synthesising inputs from releases and workstreams into clear leadership-ready views

• RAID management discipline — owns the risk, issue, assumption, and decision registers; drives active management rather than passive logging, with clear owners and escalation paths

• Dependency management — understands the interplay between activities and releases well enough to anticipate blockers before they're logged; works with Release PMs and workstream leads to actively resolve constraints rather than just record them

• ADO and tooling configuration — oversees the ADO environment setup and ongoing configuration; ensures boards, workflows, and dashboards reflect actual program structure and support reliable data

• Team leadership and stakeholder engagement — directs a small team of analysts, sets clear quality expectations, and engages Release PMs and workstream leads as a delivery partner rather than a reporting collector

• Comfort with ambiguity and early-stage build — able to design and stand up new processes and systems in a program environment where standards are still being established

Mandatory Skills or Experience Required:

• Proven experience delivering or managing delivery on a complex, multi-workstream program — with accountability for outcomes, not just reporting on them.

• Hands-on release or workstream planning from initiation — baselining scope, sequencing activities, and setting up the delivery structure before execution begins.

• Active RAID management — driving owners, escalating at the right level, and resolving issues rather than maintaining a passive log.

• Strong working knowledge of ADO at a configuration level, and dependency management across concurrent releases — able to spot where activities interlock and surface constraints early.

• Experience leading a small team, including setting quality expectations and developing more junior analysts or coordinators.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI or equivalent. Actively uses or is developing fluency with AI-assisted tools to improve reporting, surface insights, or reduce manual effort in delivery workflows.
