The opportunity

Mindray is seeking an experienced medical device professional with clinical credibility and ideally with an ICU or critical care background. You may currently work in a Clinical Specialist, Clinical Applications, Product Specialist or Product Management role and will be confident working directly with established KOLs.

This position connects European clinical partners with Mindray R&D. You will coordinate structured clinical value studies and meaningful product evaluations, ensuring KOLs utilise the ventilation product and follow the agreed protocol so that feedback and outcomes are relevant, credible and useful.

ROLE CLARITY  This is a hands-on medical device clinical role, not pharmaceutical research, sales or people-management position. KOL relationships will already be established. Your role is to maintain engagement and alignment throughout each project.

What you will do

• Maintain trusted working relationships with established ventilation KOLs throughout each product evaluation.
• Agree clinical value study or product evaluation protocols with KOLs and R&D, including objectives, use scenarios, success measures and feedback requirements.
• Ensure clinical partners understand how to use the product and follow the agreed protocol so the evaluation produces meaningful results.
• Coordinate activity between KOLs and R&D, keeping scope, responsibilities, timelines and data requirements clear.
• Gather structured feedback on product performance, usability, workflow and clinical value, then communicate findings accurately to R&D.
• Manage product validation activities from planning and site preparation through evaluation, follow-up and close-out.
• Support KOLs and internal colleagues where positive evaluation outcomes may contribute to journal articles, congress materials or other publications.
• Maintain awareness of clinical practice, guidelines and scientific developments across ventilation, intensive care and related patient monitoring.

What you will bring

• Specific professional experience with ventilation medical devices gained in a Clinical Specialist, Clinical Applications Specialist, Product Specialist or Product Management role. General medical device experience alone will not be sufficient.
• Ideally, ICU or critical care experience.
• Experience working directly with KOLs and maintaining engagement throughout product evaluation or clinical value projects.
• A practical understanding of the medical device product validation process and the steps required to deliver a meaningful product evaluation.
• Awareness of clinical value study protocols, product evaluation protocols or comparable structured validation plans.
• The ability to bridge KOLs and R&D while managing expectations, scope, timelines, product feedback and evidence requirements.
• Excellent project management and communication skills, with fluent English. French, Italian or another European language would be advantageous.

Location and travel

Our strong preference is for someone based in France or Italy. We may also consider Spain with convenient airport access.

The role involves frequent European travel, approximately 40 to 60% of working time. Candidates must already have the right to work in the country in which they apply without company sponsorship.
