What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of our Northwest Europe Finance team, you'll be involved in a broad range of accounting activities supporting the Dutch business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
• Month-end and year-end close support
• VAT compliance and tax-related activities
• Financial reporting and reconciliations
• Journal entries, accruals and prepayments
• Fixed asset accounting
• Audit preparation and support
• Inventory reconciliation activities
• Revenue recognition processes
• Business partnering with stakeholders across the Netherlands and Europe

You'll work closely with our Shared Service Centre, customer service teams, suppliers, management teams and wider European Finance organisation.

This is a highly visible role with genuine exposure across multiple functions within the business.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Accounting, Finance or Business qualification
• Experience within a financial accounting position
• Knowledge of month-end processes and financial reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP
• Excellent attention to detail
• You need to be able to work in The Netherlands without the requirement of company sponsorship
• Fluent Dutch is critical and English

Desirable

• Audit experience
• VAT and tax compliance exposure
• Experience working within an international organisation
• Manufacturing, healthcare or medical device industry exposure
