What You Need to Know:
Our Senior Financial Analyst work under general guidance, collecting and evaluating data from organizational units and prepare recommendations for deliverables including financial plans and/or financial analysis. Providing business leaders with financial forecasts to support short and long-term decision making. While also providing support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.

This Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in launching and supporting a team. Responsible for reviewing and assessing cases submitted by Domestic Disaster Cycle Services to ensure compliance with established policies and guidelines. Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated processes and systems capable of evaluating thousands of cases for compliance efficiently and accurately.

1. Conduct and document moderate to complex financial analysis projects.

2. Develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control.

3. Provide monthly revenue and/or expense analyses and reports.

4. Monitor operating budget process and allocations. Provide analysis to determine present and future performance.

5. Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and systems.

Individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying subject matter knowledge.

Compensation:The salary range for this position is $113,000 to $120,000. 

Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.  

This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded. This role is not eligible for relocation assistance.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required. CPA may be preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Management Experience: N/A
• Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of applicable principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Basic proficiency in use of Personal Computer, word-processing, spreadsheet applications, and database applications when applicable. Ability to work on a team.
• Travel: May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout the Red Cross system..

This role is 100% remote. Candidates can live anywhere in the US

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and have the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
