  • Domain Leadership: Manage and mentor domain-specific research teams (e.g., Connected Car, Semiconductor and Electronics, Chassis, Interior, Software Defined vehicle, etc).

  • Customer Research: Lead voice of the customer insight gathering and market research initiatives to identify unmet needs and translate them into actionable product features.

  • Revenue Accountability: Own the P&L of this product portfolio; help shape global sales strategy and market penetration.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, other product teams, research teams, marketing and sales to ensure seamless product delivery and market traction

  • Technical Breadth: Deep understanding of automotive ecosystem, ok if primarily focused on one technology area, though understanding of interconnection across different systems and subsystems is critical

  • Research Expertise: Proven ability to synthesize insights into high-impact thought leadership

  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing global, cross-functional teams and holding P&L/revenue responsibility.

  • Executive presentation skills: Proven ability to create and deliver clear, structured narratives for senior leadership and stakeholders, whether it is on industry subject matter or product development investment opportunities

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Product Management, or related field preferred.
