🧠 The Role

NPX is seeking a Nuclear Digital Consulting Intern to support consulting and product initiatives focused on transforming how work gets done across the nuclear industry.

In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of consulting, technology, and product development, helping teams take real operational problems from early ideas through analysis, solution development, and execution. Depending on the project, that could mean helping define a problem, researching potential solutions, developing a client recommendation, shaping a digital product concept, or supporting implementation.

You’ll contribute to both client-facing and internal initiatives and work alongside team members across product, technology, engineering, and consulting. The role is designed to provide broad exposure to how problems are identified, solutions are developed, and digital transformation initiatives are delivered in a highly specialized industry.

This role is ideal for someone with a technology, engineering, or related technical background who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, communicating clearly, and turning ideas into practical solutions.

Location: Remote within Ontario
Salary Range: $26–31/hour, depending on academic level
Duration: 4 to 12 months

🎯 What You’ll Drive

• Support consulting and product initiatives from problem definition through solution development and execution

• Help analyze operational and business challenges and translate them into clear problem statements, options, and recommendations

• Contribute to the development of digital solutions, including new product ideas, features, workflows, prototypes, and implementation approaches

• Conduct research and analysis to support client recommendations, product decisions, and project strategy

• Create polished presentations and reports that clearly communicate insights, solutions, recommendations, and project outcomes

• Work with technical, product, and business teams to translate complex requirements into practical and actionable solutions

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, ideation, and the preparation of high-quality deliverables

• Support project coordination where required, including organizing work, tracking key decisions and actions, and helping move initiatives from idea to delivery

• Participate in client discussions, workshops, internal working sessions, and solution development activities

• Iterate quickly based on feedback and contribute to delivering a high-quality final product
