Job Description:

Marmaxx Store Operations is offering co-op opportunities at one of our Framingham, MA offices to students seeking to learn, grow, and contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic store support organization. You will gain industry experience in Analytics (PowerBI), Operational Finance with a focus on expense control, and accounting through the month end close process, plus other areas of focus. The co-op will have opportunities to contribute to strategic projects, learn accounting practices, gain operational experience, and work as part of a strategic team that embodies simplification, execution, and innovation.

What this Co-Op position could look like:

• Provide weekly and monthly reporting to a variety of business partners throughout the company
• Analyze different aspects of the business, draw conclusions, and make observations based on different financial & operational metrics
• Reconcile expenses and compare to budgets on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Support month end closing duties, including, but not limited to, creating and posting journal entries & accruals
• Complete special projects assigned & any other requests to support the business need at that time

What we are looking for:

• Previous co-op experience preferred, but not required
• Strong Microsoft excel background required, PowerBI background is a plus!
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Self-starters with exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple assignments in a professional manner
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively
• Excellent communicators who work well both individually and in a team environment

This position has a starting pay range of $24 to $25 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
