Technical Analyst

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Analyst to serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams. This role requires strong technical knowledge, prior software development experience, and the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements. The role works closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and Application Developers to support analysis, API validation, Agile delivery, release coordination, and process improvement within a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Stakeholder Management

• Partner with business stakeholders and engineering teams to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
• Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements.
• Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, clarify priorities, and support delivery planning.

• Test and validate REST APIs using Postman and other API testing tools.
• Analyze application data and troubleshoot issues using relational and NoSQL databases, including DynamoDB.
• Support system integration testing, defect analysis, and root cause investigation.
• Collaborate with development teams to validate technical solutions and ensure requirements are fully implemented.

• Manage and maintain product backlogs using JIRA.
• Create, refine, and groom user stories to ensure development readiness.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate release activities across business, development, testing, and operations teams.
• Support deployment planning, release communication, and production readiness activities.

• Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and GitHub Copilot to improve requirements analysis, documentation, testing, and productivity.
• Generate test scenarios, API payloads, process documentation, and meeting summaries using AI-assisted tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, team efficiency, and overall product quality.

• Analyze application logs, alerts, dashboards, and operational metrics to identify trends and assist with incident resolution.
• Support post-release validation and production issue triage activities.

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Technical Product Owner.
• Prior experience as a Software Developer or Software Engineer with the ability to read code and understand technical design concepts.
• Strong experience with API testing and validation using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience analyzing and querying data within relational and NoSQL databases, including DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Experience coordinating software releases and supporting deployment activities.
• Understanding of cloud-native architectures and AWS services.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences and business requirements for technical teams.

• Experience working in AWS environments supporting cloud-native applications and microservices.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and processes, including Veracode and SonarQube.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered productivity tools to improve analysis, documentation, and testing activities.
• Agile or Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent.
