Salesforce Data Cloud (Genie) Consultant

• Relevant Experience Required: 2+ years of hands-on implementation experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Genie/CDP)
  
• Mandatory Certification: Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant
  

• Design and configure data ingestion streams to bring data into Salesforce Data Cloud from disparate sources, including core Salesforce orgs, Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, MuleSoft, and web/mobile SDKs.
  
• Architect Data Model Objects (DMOs) and execute complex data mapping from Data Source Objects (DSOs) to standard and custom Customer 360 data models.
  
• Establish Identity Resolution rules to deduplicate, reconcile, and consolidate fragmented customer touchpoints into a unified customer profile.
  
• Create calculated insights and streaming insights using SQL-based definitions to calculate real-time and batch operational metrics.
  
• Build and activate segmented audiences across various marketing, service, and external channels via native activation targets and enterprise APIs.
  
• Collaborate with enterprise data teams to ensure data governance, privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and appropriate data retention policies.
  
• Monitor ingestion health, performance bottlenecks, identity resolution match rates, and activation run statuses to ensure maximum reliability.
  

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of enterprise data engineering, data warehousing, or CRM consulting experience, with 2+ dedicated years deploying Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Genie / Salesforce CDP).
  
• Strong proficiency in advanced SQL for data querying and analysis, along with a deep familiarity with the Salesforce core platform framework.
  
• Deep understanding of big data concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, relational database design, semantic data modeling, and identity management strategies.
  
• Mandatory certification: Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant.
  

• Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant or Salesforce Certified Administrator certification.
  
• Prior experience implementing data platform solutions alongside external data warehouses like Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
