Areas of Expertise

• Development Finance and Economics: Guiding economic policy reform, catalyzing private sector growth, and deploying blended finance or impact investing solutions. This includes structuring innovative funding mechanisms, executing rigorous market and cost-benefit assessments, and promoting financial inclusion to foster resilient economic ecosystems.
  
• Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL): Crafting and executing learning frameworks, performance tracking systems, and comprehensive program evaluations.
  
• Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI): Embedding inclusive practices across the program lifecycle to ensure equitable development outcomes.
  
• Climate Action: Advancing initiatives focused on climate finance, environmental resilience, and adaptation and mitigation strategies.
  
• Program Operations: Steering the financial, human resources, compliance, and contract management aspects of large donor-funded portfolios.
  
• Strategic Communications and Public Diplomacy: Driving stakeholder outreach, knowledge sharing, and impactful public diplomacy campaigns.
  

Requirements

Ideal Qualifications

• A strong background in international development within the APAC region, preferably with consulting firms or managing contractors.
  
• A history of successfully leading or delivering complex programs while managing diverse partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
  
• Deep familiarity with the mechanisms of major international donors (such as DFAT, FCDO, USG, ADB, World Bank, MFAT, or similar institutions).
  
• Agility in fast-paced, cross-cultural work environments and the capacity to pivot alongside shifting project demands.
  
• The analytical prowess to distill complicated challenges into actionable insights for a variety of audiences.
  
• Exceptional writing capabilities, demonstrated through the production of clear, compelling briefings and technical reports.
  
• An unwavering dedication to achieving measurable, lasting development goals.
