Job Description
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Architect / Senior Technical Lead with strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, integrations, and platform configuration.
The ideal candidate should have strong ServiceNow development and architecture experience, including scripting, REST/SOAP integrations, MID Server administration, Discovery, Infrastructure/Application integrations, and Event Management. The candidate should also understand infrastructure environments, ITIL processes, testing methodologies, Agile/Scrum, and SDLC practices.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
8+ years of experience in IT, ServiceNow, or related technology environments.
Experience working as a Senior Technical Lead / ServiceNow Architect.
Strong hands-on experience with:
ServiceNow ITSM
CMDB
ServiceNow Integrations
Virtual Agent (VA)
Discovery
Event Management
Service Mapping
Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform configuration, architecture, and reporting.
Experience with ITIL process definition and integration solutions.
Strong scripting experience with:
JavaScript
Unix Shell scripting
Windows scripting
PowerShell
Regular Expressions (RegEx)
Experience developing integrations using REST API, SOAP, or other integration technologies.
Knowledge of cloud fundamentals and basic Windows/Unix administration.
Understanding of infrastructure environments including servers, networks, storage, and related components.
Good understanding of infrastructure monitoring tools.
Experience configuring and maintaining ServiceNow MID Servers.
Experience configuring credentials and working with command-line consoles.
Strong knowledge of Discovery Schedules and Discovery troubleshooting.
Experience with Cloud and tag-based Discovery.
Experience gathering requirements from infrastructure/application teams for Service Mapping.
