Associate Software Engineer

The Associate Software Engineer provides software programming services. Their duties include coordinating with project teams, writing code based on software designs, providing internal support for various departments, adhering to software development processes, documenting test procedures, and solving project issues. 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Design and implement high quality deliverables with a focus on security and performance.
• Adhere to all established development policies, procedures, and standards.
• Provide detailed and timely status updates to leadership.
• Maintain technical knowledge and understanding of the latest development methodologies and best practices.
• Analyze business requirements and documenting design specifications.
• Participate in meetings with customers to understand their needs and issues.
• Debug existing code to identify and eliminate errors.
• Design, develop, test, and document new computer applications.
• Recommend improvements to existing software systems.
• Develop prototypes to demonstrate possible applications of new technologies.
• Create technical documentation such as flowcharts and diagrams of program structures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ years of technical experience required.
• Basic knowledge of software engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
• Basic knowledge of the hardware, software, and systems associated with software engineering.
• Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Solid communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently with customers.
