As a Key Account Sales Manager of the SCS team in North America, you will be an active contributor to the growth of orders and pipeline with GE Vernova Key customers.

Job Description

As a Key Account Manager for the SCS team in North America, you will be responsible for leading strategic customer relationships across the full GE Vernova portfolio, including but not limited to Gas Power, Steam Power, Aero, Grid Solutions, and Power Conversion. Supporting customer fleets spanning from Washington to Florida, you will drive growth in orders, pipeline, and long-term partnership opportunities.


Responsible for orders, commitments, and overall account strategy, you will develop and execute customer engagement plans that strengthen GE Vernova's position as a trusted partner. You will cultivate executive and operational relationships, identify opportunities across the portfolio, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive controls solutions that support customer objectives, drive continued market success, and expand market penetration throughout your assigned region.



What you’ll do


  • Develop long term strategic plans by customer to drive market / customer penetration in support of Orders, Sales, Cash and Contribution Margin growth.
  • Maintain on-going customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers.
  • Drive a sales pipeline on complex, multi-offering transactions that may include Parts, Lifecare Services, Turbine / Generator Upgrades, Digital Solutions and Long-Term Service / Parts Agreements.
  • Develop and maintain key Account Plans with detailed insights focused on Customer’s Strategy, Customer ESG Policies, Organizational Structures, Buying Behaviors, Outage and Opportunity Forecasts
  • Continuously monitor and drive the development of the opportunity pipeline for regional opportunities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Technical Discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Knowledge of Gas and Steam Turbine / Generator and Controls technology products and services
  • Customer facing experience in roles such as Sales, Project Management or Customer Service in power generation industry.

  • Provide leadership through the formulation and execution of proposal strategies that capitalize on GE's competitive strengths to serve the customer's needs while meeting GE’s business goals.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Power Generation.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate and current project and opportunity information in Sales Force

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
