Role Summary
We are looking for a
Plant Operations Consultant with strong experience in
Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), MES, Digital Plant Operations, and Industry 4.0. The consultant will work with manufacturing clients to improve plant processes, drive business transformation, and develop customer-centric manufacturing solutions.
Must-Have Skills
8+ years of experience in
Manufacturing Operations / MOM / MES.
Strong
MES execution and solution experience.
Experience in
Digital Plant Operations and
Industry 4.0.
Manufacturing industry experience, preferably
Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, Chemical, Pulp & Paper, or Metals.
Experience in
business transformation / manufacturing consulting.
Strong understanding of
MOM processes across:
Production
Quality
Inventory
Maintenance
Environment & Safety
Experience with
process mapping tools such as ARIS, Visio, or Enterprise Architect.
Ability to understand customer business needs and develop
customer-centric solutions.
Knowledge of
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TOC, ISA-95, and MESA concepts.
Good to Have
MBA or postgraduate degree.
Pre-Sales / Go-to-Market experience.
Exposure to
AI/ML, Data Science, SCADA, and Plant Automation.
Experience with
Design Thinking.
Thought leadership / SME experience.
MESA membership or relevant industry certifications.
Knowledge of plant-floor IT infrastructure, networking, and servers supporting MES.
Key Responsibilities
Provide SME and consulting expertise across
manufacturing operations and MOM/MES.
Analyze and improve manufacturing business processes.
Support
digital plant and Industry 4.0 transformation initiatives.
Drive productivity improvement and
de-bottlenecking initiatives.
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, ISA-95, and MESA best practices.
Identify opportunities to use
Cloud, Analytics, Big Data, Mobility, and AI/ML to improve plant operations.
Work with customers to understand requirements and design practical manufacturing solutions.
Lead consulting activities and communicate recommendations to business stakeholders.
