Procurement Support

Responsibilities:

• Interface daily with Supply Chain Managers, Operations and Value Stream leaders to understand critical supplier parts based on business and site need.
• Work directly with Procurement team to escalate part issues where needed, obtain supplier commits, and make updates to SAP Mismatch tool and internal tracking files.
• Collaborate with procurement to identify opportunities for supplier schedule improvement to meet Client MRP needs. Report status regularly to Operations and Supply Chain Managers.
• Improve visibility into material availability
• Receive inputs from Supply Chain Managers and Operations on priority parts and work to confirm supplier commits, enter data into SAP and tracking files, and support efforts to improve supplier schedules where needed
• Communicate daily with operations and supply chain personnel to convey critical parts status
• Clear internal obstacles to ensure parts are moving through approval processes, such as quality inspections, first article reviews, engineering changes
• Attend weekly working level supply chain, site, and business unit meetings; provide part status inputs. Work with the PFEP team, Manage the RAIL, and update both EPS and ECS presentations
• Manage Ship Commitments spreadsheet against Demand and Overdue
• Get updated information on 2nd and 3rd source suppliers and record and drive open actions
• Track down QN's, SRI's and FAI's and driving action
• Charting the processing time of open SRI's and scaling their priority levels
• Continue to support the PFEP team and many others on smaller actions.
• Continue improving turnaround time for problem part resolution.
• Expand proactive identification of risks impacting LRU builds.
• Further streamline communication processes to enhance clarity and efficiency.
• Leverage data tracking tools to improve reporting accuracy and forecasting.
