Interpreter/Translator - Japanese/English

Job description:

• Morning-shift interpreter to support meetings scheduled between approximately 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. ET, Monday through Thursday (excluding Fridays).
• Actual hours may vary depending on candidate experience, skill level, and the meeting schedule. Occasionally, may also be asked to support evening meetings.

• Provide accurate Simultaneous interpretation remotely (equipment provided) for meetings at Client Automobile Development Center (ADC), legacy Client R&D.
• As an interpreter dispatched by your agency to work for ADC, it is critical that both your Japanese and English be smooth and easy to understand.
• Although translation is minimal, you are expected to translate documents accurately and quickly, if and when necessary.

• Experienced Japanese/English Simultaneous Interpreter (both directions: Japanese to English and English to Japanese).

• 4-year college degree with a few years of experience, or if no college, at least 5 years of interpretation experience.

• Part-time 20 hours per week
