The role will focus on preparing pricing analyses, maintaining financial models, building dashboards, and automating recurring reports. The Pricing Analyst I will work closely with senior pricing team members and cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Solution Design, Delivery, Finance, and HR.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing and Commercial Support

  • Gather, organize, and validate pricing inputs such as headcount, compensation, utilization, expenses, volumes, and delivery locations.
  • Assist with commercial models, including Time and Materials, Fixed Price, and volume-based pricing.
  • Perform basic scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess the impact of changes in volumes, costs, rates, utilization, and other pricing assumptions.
  • Review pricing submissions for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with established approval requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of pricing assumptions, approvals, and model changes.
  • Support the preparation of pricing materials and summaries for internal stakeholder discussions.

Data Analysis and Financial Reporting

  • Work with large datasets from multiple sources to prepare pricing, revenue, cost, and margin analyses.
  • Clean, consolidate, validate, and reconcile data to improve its accuracy and usability.
  • Analyze historical pricing and financial data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Support revenue, cost of goods sold, headcount, expense, and gross-margin reporting.
  • Assist with variance analysis by comparing actual results against budgets, forecasts, and pricing assumptions.
  • Develop and track relevant pricing and financial KPIs.
  • Prepare clear summaries of analytical findings for management and other stakeholders.

Business Intelligence and Reporting Automation

  • Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Automate recurring reports and manual data-processing activities using tools such as Power Query, Excel, SQL, or other approved automation solutions.
  • Assist in developing standardized scorecards, reporting templates, and executive-level summaries.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify reporting processes, reduce manual work, and improve data accessibility.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective dashboards and analytical outputs.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure automated reports and dashboards are accurate and reliable.

AI-Enabled Analysis and Process Improvement

  • Use approved AI tools, such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms, to support research, summarize information, document processes, and improve analytical workflows.
  • Explore appropriate uses of AI to streamline repetitive tasks and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Validate all AI-generated outputs before using them in financial models, reports, or business decisions.
  • Follow company requirements regarding confidentiality, data security, responsible AI use, and the handling of client information.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across pricing models, reporting, data management, and team processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work with Sales, Finance, Solution Design, Delivery, and HR to collect and validate pricing and financial inputs.
  • Communicate data requirements, assumptions, timelines, and outstanding items clearly.
  • Respond to routine reporting and analytical requests from internal stakeholders.
  • Escalate data inconsistencies, missing information, and pricing risks to senior team members.
  • Participate in pricing reviews and stakeholder meetings, providing supporting analysis when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • One to three years of experience in financial analysis, pricing, business intelligence, reporting, data analysis, or a related area. Relevant internships or graduate experience may also be considered.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup formulas, conditional formulas, data validation, and basic financial modeling.
  • Experience working with large datasets and combining information from multiple sources.
  • Practical experience with Power BI, Tableau, or another data-visualization platform.
  • Familiarity with Power Query, SQL, or similar data-transformation and querying tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify data inconsistencies.
  • Basic understanding of revenue, costs, margins, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ability to organize work effectively and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn pricing methodologies, commercial models, financial modeling, and reporting automation.
