Job Description

The position of R+IQ Sales Development Specialist will be Remote!

Summary:
The R+IQ Sales Development Specialist is responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and supporting the sales team in achieving their targets.

What You'll Do:

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media
• Conduct research to identify potential clients and key decision-makers within target organizations
• Nurture and manage leads through the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies
• Schedule and coordinate meetings and demos for the sales team with qualified leads
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions in the CRM system
• Provide regular reports on lead generation and sales activities to the sales manager
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve sales techniques
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What You'll Need

• Experience in industrial sales would be an asset
• High School or GED - Required
• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in a technology driven discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proven experience in sales development or a similar role, preferably in the SaaS industry
• Strong understanding of SaaS products and services
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Ability to sell services in addition to developing strong customer and integrator relationships
• Strong interpersonal communications, analytical and problem solving, and written/verbal communication skills required
• Ability to learn processes and concepts and to understand technical functions quickly
• Ability to foster open dialogue and extend collaboration with other internal and external stakeholders
