Principal Director – Software Applications Delivery Lead, Treasury Hub (Calypso / Kondor+ / Murex)

THE WORK:

Join us in shaping the future of treasury and capital markets technology transformation. In this role, you will lead the Treasury & Capital Markets Software Applications Hub, with end-to-end accountability for delivery across three flagship treasury and risk platforms — Calypso, Kondor+, and Murex.

You will combine deep platform and capital markets expertise with large-scale program delivery, practice leadership, client management, and commercial ownership. Acting as a senior client partner and escalation point, you will work across multiple teams and geographies to ensure successful delivery, sustainable growth, and strong client outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Owning end-to-end delivery of Calypso, Kondor+, and Murex engagements, including implementations, upgrades, migrations, and managed services.
• Setting delivery standards, methodology, governance, quality gates, estimation models, and staffing approaches for the Treasury Hub.
• Acting as the senior escalation point for delivery risk, budget, quality, and client satisfaction across active engagements.
• Overseeing complex, multi-workstream transformation programs spanning front office, risk management, collateral, back office, accounting, and regulatory reporting.
• Building, structuring, and scaling the Treasury Hub across nearshore and offshore delivery locations.
• Leading Engagement/Delivery Managers and Platform Leads and driving capability development, certification, career paths, utilization, and talent retention.
• Serving as a senior client partner for major banking and capital markets clients, supporting executive-level stakeholder relationships and decision-making.
• Owning the commercial performance of the Treasury Hub, including revenue growth, margin, contract renewals, and expansion opportunities.
• Leading proposal development, RFP responses, and solutioning for treasury and risk platform opportunities.
• Identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities across managed services, migrations, upgrades, and regulatory transformation.
• Ensuring platform architecture, integration, and regulatory requirements are embedded across delivery, including MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR, DORA, FRTB, CSDR, and Basel III/IV.
• Maintaining alignment with vendor roadmaps across Adenza/Calypso, Finastra Kondor+, and Murex MX.3, and partnering with vendor relationship teams on strategic initiatives.
• Reporting into the Capital Markets Lead, with matrixed accountability across delivery, practice, and commercial dimensions.

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office—depending on project circumstances. HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• 15+ years of experience in financial services technology consulting, systems integration, or related roles, including at least 5 years in senior delivery leadership positions.
• Proven hands-on and/or delivery leadership experience across at least two of the following platforms: Calypso, Kondor+, Murex MX.3.
• Deep understanding of front-to-back treasury and capital markets architecture, including trading, market and credit risk, liquidity, collateral management, settlements, accounting, and regulatory reporting.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale, multi-year, multi-million-dollar transformation programs.
• Strong expertise in program and project management, delivery governance, risk management, estimation, planning, and quality management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships at C-level.
• Deep capital markets and treasury domain knowledge, including treasury operations, trading, risk, liquidity, and collateral management.
• Working knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, including MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR, DORA, FRTB, CSDR, and Basel III/IV.
• Experience building and scaling a practice, delivery hub, or similar organizational capability, covering people, processes, and commercial models.
• Proven leadership experience, including managing senior delivery professionals, developing talent, and supporting organizational design and retention.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience in P&L ownership, business development, proposal creation, RFP responses, and client expansion.
• Executive presence and the ability to represent Accenture with senior clients, vendors, and industry stakeholders.
• Familiarity with platform migration and coexistence strategies, including treasury platform upgrades and migrations.
• Understanding of regional capital markets infrastructure, including CCPs, CSDs, and settlement systems relevant to client environments.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience with cloud-hosted or SaaS deployments of Calypso or Murex.
• Exposure to digital assets, cross-border payments, or emerging capital markets technologies.
• Experience working with banking clients across CEE or broader EMEA markets.
• Previous experience working directly within a banking organization.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/SAFe, or equivalent certification.
