Job description

About the Role

This is the single technical thread from first discovery call through to a customer operating in production. Sitting inside the Commercial Organization, you work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to bridge pre-sales solutioning and post-signature delivery, owning the design you scope all the way to go-live.

What You'll Do

  • Run technical and process discovery with cross-functional customer stakeholders across supply chain, quality, logistics, and IT to uncover current-state workflows, data sources, systems, and constraints.

  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations mapped to each customer's real lanes, products, and release processes rather than a generic script, and handle technical objections on the spot.

  • Own the initial solution design and solution map, defining which modules apply, what data is required, which integrations are in scope, and what is phased or excluded.

  • Translate solution designs into scoped, sequenced statements of work and implementation plans, sizing effort honestly and surfacing long-lead items before they become commitments.

  • Partner with Sales and commercial leadership on proposals and order forms, ensuring every commitment is technically deliverable and flagging anything that is not.

  • Carry your design into delivery by leading solution workshops and guiding configuration of lane qualification, command center, and automated product release modules through to go-live.

  • Coordinate with Product, Data, and Engineering to sequence deliverables, manage technical handoffs, and feed real customer patterns back into the roadmap.

  • Build reusable assets including reference solution designs, discovery question banks, scoping templates, and integration patterns to accelerate future deals.

What We're Looking For

  • 5 or more years as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Account Manager delivering enterprise software implementations.

  • Proven ability to run technical discovery with cross-functional stakeholders and translate requirements into end-to-end solution designs.

  • Demonstrated ownership of solution designs from pre-sales through implementation and go-live.

  • Experience scoping and sequencing implementation plans, sizing effort, and identifying dependencies and long-lead items.

  • Proficiency delivering customer-tailored demos and handling technical objections in live sales situations.

  • Domain experience in supply chain, cold chain, logistics, or quality management systems and workflows.

  • Hands-on experience configuring or implementing enterprise software modules such as product release management, qualification systems, or control tower platforms.

  • Comfort coordinating technical handoffs across Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams.

  • Proficiency with design and documentation tools such as Figma or FigJam, and project tracking systems such as Linear or Jira.

  • Familiarity with data integration patterns, API-driven architectures, or system interoperability challenges is a strong plus.

  • Experience in regulated industries such as pharma, food, or healthcare with compliance and traceability requirements is a plus.
