Job description

Azumo is looking for a Head of Delivery to lead and ensure the successful delivery of complex software development projects and personalized technology initiatives. The position is FULLY REMOTE, based in Latin America.

As a Head of Delivery, you will be a key leader within our IT Delivery team, collaborating cross-functionally with both business and technical teams to ensure the successful and continuous delivery of products and services.

The position demands a hands-on, results-oriented individual who is skilled at guiding teams, removing impediments, and ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software development and custom technology projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Guide and coach the Project Management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence.
  • Identify and actively remove impediments and risks that may impact team velocity and project delivery.
  • Apply and champion Agile methodologies to manage project workflows and ensure the timely delivery of solutions.
  • Communicate projects updates, progress, and risks to senior management and stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring transparency.
  • Oversee billing, time tracking, and budget management for project portfolios.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in an IT Delivery Management role with a focus on Agile methodologies.
  • C1 English skills (essential).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with JIRA and Notion.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • The candidate’s experience as a DM will be evaluated based on their past role.
  • Experience delivering AI, ML, or data-driven software projects, a meaningful advantage given Azumo's specialization.
