FPGA Design Engineer

CTG is seeking to fill a FPGA Design Engineer position for our client.

Location: Remote
Duration: Ongoing Contract

Duties:

• Design, develop, integrate, and validate FPGA-based systems.

• Perform FPGA architecture, digital logic design, coding, simulation, and verification.

• Develop and validate high-speed I/O interfaces and communication protocols.

• Support system integration, hardware bring-up, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams.

• Optimize FPGA timing, performance, power, and resource utilization.

• Support requirements analysis, design reviews, and technical documentation.

Skills:

• FPGA Design and Verification

• VHDL and/or Verilog

• Digital Logic Design

• High-Speed I/O and Communication Protocols

• System Integration and Hardware Bring-Up

• Embedded Programming

• Hardware/Software Integration

• Debugging and Troubleshooting

• Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, or similar tools

Experience:

• Experience designing and developing FPGA-based systems.

• Experience with FPGA system integration, hardware bring-up, and validation.

• Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, Serial RapidIO, JESD204, or DDR.

• Experience with embedded systems and C/C++, embedded Linux, or RTOS preferred.

• Experience with SoC FPGA platforms and timing analysis preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70.00 to $80.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
