Role: Senior Project Manager
Location: Remote – Los Angeles, CA
Duration: 11 Months - Contract
Pay Rate Range: $55 /hr - $65/hr
Company Description/Details:
The organization is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex IT initiatives from planning through delivery. This role will oversee cross-functional project teams, manage scope and requirements, coordinate project resources, mitigate risks, and ensure successful delivery of IT products, services, and systems. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with software development projects, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure DevOps, Agile Scrum, and Azure Cloud.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and oversee complex IT projects, including project scope, requirements, deliverables, schedules, and release plans.
- Manage internal and external project teams, resources, milestones, risks, quality assurance, and project documentation.
- Partner with customers, department leaders, control agencies, and technical stakeholders to coordinate project activities and resolve issues.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, change control, compliance reviews, and project performance assessments.
- Oversee systems integration, information security planning, training, documentation, and successful implementation of IT solutions.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of broad and progressively responsible IT project management experience, including 4+ years leading large or complex IT projects as a Senior Project Manager.
- 3+ years of experience with software development projects, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure DevOps, and Agile Scrum.
- 1+ year of experience with Azure Cloud and 1+ year of experience with Lucidchart.
- Bachelor's degree and active PMP certification from PMI required; additional qualifying experience may substitute for the degree, but PMP certification is required.
