Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot C#/.NET applications and services, including REST APIs, integrations, background services, and event-driven components.
  • Develop and optimize SQL Server and Azure SQL solutions using T-SQL, stored procedures, Entity Framework Core, indexing, and performance-tuning techniques.
  • Produce clean, secure, maintainable, and testable code following corporate standards, design patterns, and architecture guidelines.
  • Create and maintain unit, integration, performance, contract, and security tests, participating actively in peer code reviews and quality controls.
  • Build and support Azure-based solutions and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including deployment automation, containers, observability, resilience, and environment configuration.
  • Apply secure development practices, including Microsoft Entra ID, Key Vault, vulnerability management, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
  • Investigate production issues, perform root cause and database performance analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in Agile delivery, including backlog refinement, estimation, sprint planning, technical feasibility assessments, and proofs of concept.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support release readiness and governance, including API contracts, database changes, runbooks, and technical artifacts.
  • Collaborate with QA, Security, Infrastructure, Data, DBA, Operations, and other development teams, while contributing to knowledge sharing, engineering standards, and mentoring junior developers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of professional C#/.NET development experience in enterprise or production environments, including ASP.NET Core, Web/Minimal APIs, Entity Framework Core, asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and modern C# features.
  • Experience with distributed systems and integrations, including REST APIs, microservices, messaging, event-driven architectures, idempotency, retries, timeouts, and circuit breakers.
  • Advanced SQL Server and Azure SQL skills, including data modeling, T-SQL, complex queries, stored procedures/functions/views, transactions, execution plans, indexing, optimization, blocking/deadlocks, schema versioning, migrations, and performance troubleshooting.
  • Strong experience with Entity Framework Core and database lifecycle management, including migrations, transactions, performance, automated deployments, backward-compatible changes, rollback planning, and CI/CD integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including several of: App Service, Container Apps, AKS, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Key Vault, Entra ID, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage, Redis, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor.
  • Practical experience with Azure DevOps, including Repos, Boards, YAML Pipelines, Artifacts, environments/approvals, branching, pull requests, and release processes.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm, plus familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform) and scripting (PowerShell/Bash).
  • Strong knowledge of testing, code quality, observability, and security, including xUnit/NUnit, mocking, integration testing, static analysis/quality gates, OpenTelemetry, logging, metrics/tracing, OWASP, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, JWT, managed identities, secrets, and vulnerability/dependency management.
  • Understanding of software architecture and design, including Clean/Layered Architecture, DDD, design patterns, C4 models, ADRs, and non-functional requirements.
  • Experience working with Scrum/Kanban, including refinement, estimation, planning, demos, retrospectives, and delivery metrics.
  • Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools, with awareness of security, privacy, licensing, quality, and governance requirements.
  • Familiarity with Angular/React and experience in telecommunications, enterprise B2B, or complex integration environments are desirable.
  • English B2+, with strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, learning agility, adaptability, attention to detail, intellectual honesty, knowledge sharing, and customer-service orientation.
