Job description

Overview:

Develops, configures, tests, modifies, and supports software applications and integrations using AI-enabled development tools, Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and related technologies. Works within established architectures, design specifications, development standards, and change-control procedures to support back-office ERP and finance systems. Collaborates with more experienced developers, IT support teams, and business partners to clarify requirements, document solutions, conduct testing, and support deployment and production issue resolution.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, modify, and support deployment of assigned software applications and integrations based on approved requirements and design specifications. 
  • Apply established integration patterns, coding standards, security requirements, and architectural guidelines to assigned solutions. 
  • Use approved AI development tools to support coding, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting activities. 
  • Develop and apply working knowledge of back-office ERP, finance systems, and related business processes. 
  • Review and clarify technical requirements with business partners and more experienced technical team members. 
  • Prepare functional specifications, technical documentation, test plans, and implementation materials for review. 
  • Investigate and resolve moderately complex application and integration issues using established diagnostic methods. 
  • Escalate novel, high-risk, or architecture-related issues to senior engineers or technical leadership. 
  • Follow established change-control procedures and coordinate testing and implementation activities with business and IT teams. 
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user instructions, and training materials using established formats. 
  • Organize assigned work across multiple projects and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to project and technical leads. 
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting. 
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned. 
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required 
  • Knowledge in the use of AI development tools. 
  • Experience in development of technical solutions across multiple technologies, such as .NET, SQL Server. Experience in AWS Aurora databases a plus. 
  • Experience with all aspects of technical project lifecycle, from requirements, design, and deployment. 
  • Experience supporting financial applications (AP, AR, GL) a plus. 
  • 2-4+ years of professional software development experience with SQL databases. 
  • Knowledge of cloud-based design principles. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. 
  • High proficiency and responsive in managing multiple workstreams across several internal groups. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, collaborating effectively across both technical and non-technical teams

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions 

  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance. 
  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area. 

Base compensation ranges from $80,000 to $95,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
