Job description

Position Overview

Provides administrative and case management support services to the Case Management and operations staff.

Key Responsibilities

· Receives calls from the providers, claimants, Attorneys and Accounts and takes in all necessary and pertinent information or forwards the calls to the appropriate recipient.

· Generates and processes TCM and FBCM correspondence in accordance with departmental policy and procedures.

· Prepares all CM letters and reports received via email or fax in accordance with department policy and procedures.

· Creates letters within 24-48 hours of receipt of request from case manager

· Receives medical records/information from provider, enters information into CASEANYPLACE and forwards to case manager for further direction.

· Enters and sends all necessary documents, i.e. introduction letters, professional authorization letters, visit confirmation letters, medical record requests, etc.

· Contacts adjusters when directed by the Case Manager.

· Enters daily billable time and notes in CASEANYPLACE to correspond with administrative activity that can be captured.

· Performs other administrative assistant duties as assigned.

Education

· High School Diploma or equivalent plus up to one (1) year of related experience.

· Associate or bachelor's degree a plus.

Work Environment & Location

· Work performed in an office environment or remote office setting.

· Job performed while sitting.
