The Senior Manager, Commercial Agreements is responsible for leading IDT's global Commercial Agreements team, including contract specialists, EMEA/APAC tenders and frameworks specialists, and contract lifecycle management resources. This role drives contract execution excellence, commercial governance, process standardization, lifecycle visibility, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with Commercial, Legal, Finance, Pricing, and Operations teams to support profitable growth and reduce commercial risk. The position provides strategic leadership across the full commercial agreement lifecycle, from customer negotiations and agreement execution through renewal, extension, and end-of-life management.

This position reports to the Director, Pricing and Contracts, is part of the Commercial Excellence Organization, and is fully REMOTE.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a global team responsible for commercial agreements, EMEA tenders and framework agreements, and contract lifecycle management activities.
  • Oversee the preparation, negotiation, execution, implementation, and administration of commercial agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and commercial objectives.
  • Drive contract lifecycle management processes, including renewals, extensions, amendments, price increase administration, contract performance monitoring, and end-of-life activities.
  • Establish and improve standardized processes, KPIs, governance mechanisms, and automation opportunities that improve turnaround time, customer experience, compliance, and scalability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Finance, Pricing, Operations, and regional leadership teams to support strategic customer agreements, tenders, and complex commercial opportunities.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Finance, Life Sciences, or a related field. JD, MBA, or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in contracts, commercial operations, deal desk, tenders, pricing, legal operations, or related commercial functions.
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience with responsibility for hiring, coaching, performance management, and team development.
  • Experience negotiating, administering, or managing commercial agreements, contracts, tenders, framework agreements, or related customer-facing commercial transactions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving Sales, Legal, Finance, Pricing, Operations, or other commercial stakeholders.
  • Experience developing or improving business processes, governance programs, workflow automation, or operational performance metrics.
  • Experience working with contract lifecycle management systems, CRM platforms, ERP systems, or related commercial technologies.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires up to 20% flying and/or driving travel, which may potentially include overnight stays.  Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Biotechnology, life sciences, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
  • Global tendering, public-sector procurement, or framework agreement administration.
  • Danaher Business System (DBS), Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence methodologies.

The annual salary range for this role is $130,000.00 - $150,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
