Senior Sales Manager, U.S. Federal

As a Senior Sales Manager, for U.S. Federal, you will lead a high-performing team of Account Managers focused on accelerating growth across the U.S. Federal market. This is an opportunity to influence strategy, build executive-level customer relationships, and drive transformational outcomes for government agencies while leading a talented team of sales professionals.

This is a remote role, open to candidates living in the Washington D.C. \ DMV area.

What You're Responsible For

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a team of senior sales professionals, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

  • Drive revenue growth and profitability across a diverse Federal account portfolio by executing strategic sales plans and identifying new market opportunities.

  • Build and strengthen executive-level relationships with key government stakeholders, agency leaders, and partners to expand HP's presence and influence.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that align customer priorities with HP's innovative technology solutions.

  • Leverage market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer trends to shape business strategy, forecast performance, and influence buying decisions.

  • Manage business operations, resource allocation, and investment priorities to maximize sales effectiveness and achieve business objectives.

  • Champion customer success by gathering feedback, identifying emerging needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional experiences.

  • Partner with marketing, solution architects, and business leaders to develop compelling customer presentations, sales strategies, and pursuit plans.

  • Design and execute incentive programs, performance initiatives, and talent development strategies that drive engagement and results.

  • Ensure sound business practices and compliance with all Federal, legal, contractual, and ethical sales requirements.

  • Proven success leading enterprise or Federal sales organizations with a track record of exceeding revenue and margin objectives.

  • Strong understanding of Federal procurement environments, customer acquisition strategies, and complex sales cycles.

  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior decision-makers and build long-term strategic relationships.

  • Experience developing high-performing teams and coaching sales professionals to achieve ambitious goals.

  • Strong business acumen with expertise in forecasting, account planning, pipeline management, and growth strategy.

  • A passion for driving innovation, developing talent, and delivering meaningful results for customers.

The Impact You Will Make

In this role, you'll have direct influence on HP's Federal growth strategy, lead a team responsible for delivering significant business outcomes, and help government agencies leverage technology that advances their missions. Your leadership will shape customer partnerships, develop future sales talent, and contribute to HP's continued success in the Federal marketplace.

Compensation & Benefits

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $232,000 - $343,000 annually, with a 60/40 (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
