LMI seeks an Operational Requirements / Acquisition Document Specialist to support federal and contractor teams within a large program management office in Washington, DC. Responsibilities:The resource is responsible for communicating complex operational, acquisition, and requirements-related information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences through written materials. This role requires expertise in reviewing, editing, developing, and refining documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency of messaging, and adherence to DHS, CBP, and USBP style guides, templates, formatting standards, routing procedures, and document control requirements.
The position requires knowledge of U.S. Border Patrol operations, federal acquisition processes, and government requirements management practices. This position supports USBP and CBP leadership by producing well-organized, agency-compliant written products that translate operational needs, capability gaps, and requirements into clear, actionable documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
Target salary range: $140k - $160k
