Job Description:

Blake Willson Group is seeking an Acquisition Support Analyst to support federal acquisition activities across the pre-award, award, and post-award lifecycle. In this role, you will assist with developing and maintaining acquisition documentation, conducting market research, tracking procurement milestones, and supporting contracting and program office activities in accordance with applicable federal acquisition requirements. You will collaborate with contracting personnel, program offices, finance teams, and other stakeholders to help ensure acquisition activities are organized, compliant, and completed efficiently. In this position, you will:

  • Support federal acquisition activities throughout the pre-award, award, and post-award lifecycle.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of acquisition documentation and procurement files.
  • Conduct market research and prepare market research reports.
  • Assist with the development and review of acquisition packages, including Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), Acquisition Plans, Determinations and Findings, and Justifications and Approvals.
  • Assist with preparing Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Assist with contract modifications, funding actions, option exercises, and other administrative actions.
  • Track acquisition milestones, deliverables, approvals, issues, and risks while ensuring compliance with the FAR, agency supplements, and applicable policies.
  • Prepare acquisition-related correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and trackers while coordinating with contracting, program, finance, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Acquisition Management, Contract Management, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience supporting federal acquisitions, preferably as a Federal Contract Specialist, Acquisition Specialist, Procurement Analyst, Contracting Officer support professional, or in a similar role.
  • 2 years of experience preparing, reviewing, or maintaining federal acquisition documentation and procurement files in accordance with the FAR, agency supplements, and applicable procurement requirements.

Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience as a Federal Contract Specialist, Acquisition Specialist, Procurement Analyst, Contracting Officer support professional, or in a similar role.
  • Experience supporting a federal contracting office or program management office.
  • Familiarity with agency-specific FAR supplements and federal procurement policies.
  • Experience using acquisition systems such as PRISM, Momentum, ConWrite, Procurement Desktop-Defense, FPDS, SAM.gov, or similar systems.
  • Experience supporting competitive procurements, task orders, or GSA Schedule acquisitions.

Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
