Senior Budget Officer

Location: Raleigh, NC (Remote)

Duration: 9 Months

Job Overview:

Seeking for a Senior Budget Officer to lead financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely management of complex financial workflows across multiple IT systems and departments. This role involves overseeing invoice tracking, documentation management, budget monitoring, and financial coordination across agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain structured financial documentation across multiple platforms.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
  • Develop and update dynamic budget dashboards.
  • Monitor spending across major contracts and funding streams.
  • Serve as the primary financial coordination point with finance, legal, privacy, security, procurement, contractors, and partner agencies.
  • Proactively identify and resolve financial issues.
  • Maintain standardized SOPs and provide transparent financial reporting.
