Job Type Full-time Description

The Compensation Analyst plays a critical role in advancing OCHIN's compensation philosophy by providing market intelligence, compensation analysis, workforce insights, and data-driven recommendations that support equitable and competitive pay practices. This position administers compensation programs, conduct market benchmarking, support compensation planning, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies.The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to drive informed compensation decisions that support talent attraction, retention, internal equity, and organizational growth.

Essential Functions: 

Compensation Program Administration

  • Administer and maintain compensation programs, salary structures, pay ranges, and job evaluation processes.
  • Support annual compensation planning activities, including merit, market, and promotional increase reviews.
  • Partner with leaders to evaluate compensation recommendations and ensure alignment with compensation philosophy and budget guidelines.
  • Assist with spot awards, bonus program administration, and other recognition programs.

Market Analysis & Benchmarking

  • Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using compensation surveys and external labor market data.
  • Analyze market competitiveness and provide recommendations regarding pay positioning.
  • Support development and maintenance of salary ranges and compensation structures.

Compliance & Governance

  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local pay regulations.
  • Assist with audits and compensation-related reporting requirements.
  • Maintain compensation documentation, procedures, and governance practices.

Partnership & Consultation

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to People & Culture partners and business leaders regarding compensation matters.
  • Provide guidance on job evaluations, internal equity considerations, and compensation practices.
  • Support organizational design and workforce planning initiatives through compensation analysis.
Requirements

 QualificationsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of compensation related experience is strongly preferred 
  • Experience conducting market pricing and compensation analysis is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Pave.com or Salary.com market analysis tools strongly preferred 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with compensation surveys and market-pricing methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with HRIS and reporting platforms preferred.

Preferred Certifications

  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) preferred.
Salary Description 74,500 - 111,000
