Completes technical-oriented service tasks of various scopes and supports in planning and managing these tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a broad range of technical service activities related to the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, upgrades, and performance verification of radiotherapy linear accelerators (LINACs).

  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, electromechanical, and connectivity issues, ensuring rapid restoration of system functionality and maximum clinical uptime.

  • Prioritize service activities and effectively plan interventions to minimize customer downtime and disruption to patient treatment schedules.

  • Provide both remote and on-site technical support to customers and act as a second and third-level escalation resource for complex technical issues.

  • Perform remote monitoring and predictive maintenance tools to proactively identify potential equipment issues and improve system reliability and availability.

  • Collaborate closely with radiation oncology departments, medical physicists, clinical users, and internal support organizations to ensure safe and effective operation of treatment delivery systems.

  • Support the implementation of hardware and software updates, modifications, and field actions throughout the equipment lifecycle.

  • Maintain accurate service documentation, technical reports, and system records in accordance with company quality requirements and regulatory standards.

  • Ensure compliance with Siemens Healthineers quality processes, radiation safety requirements, customer site procedures, and all applicable regulatory obligations.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of service tools, technical procedures, knowledge bases, and operational processes.

  • Support customer education and technical guidance related to system operation, maintenance practices, and service recommendations.
