Job description

We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced U.S. litigation attorneys with strong expertise in shareholder and LLC disputes, legal drafting, motion practice, discovery, case-theory development, and complex commercial litigation to contribute to an advanced AI training and legal evaluation project.

Selected professionals will produce realistic litigation work product across evolving shareholder and LLC disputes, maintain coherent case strategy over multiple rounds, respond to changing facts and instructions, and develop structured evaluation criteria alongside their legal drafting. The work is designed to mirror real-world assignments prepared for senior or partner review. No prior experience in AI is required.

Key Responsibilities

Shareholder & LLC Litigation

  • Analyse complex disputes among shareholders, LLC members, owners, and business entities
  • Work across matters involving fiduciary duties, minority-owner oppression, buyouts, governance, and related ownership disputes
  • Apply substantive U.S. law and practical litigation judgement to evolving commercial scenarios
  • Evaluate rights, duties, remedies, and strategic considerations arising from entity and ownership disputes
  • Maintain a coherent litigation position as facts and opposing arguments develop

Litigation Drafting & Motion Practice

  • Draft motions, briefs, demand letters, discovery materials, and related litigation documents
  • Produce persuasive written advocacy grounded in applicable law and factual context
  • Develop work product suitable for review by senior attorneys or supervising partners
  • Apply professional legal drafting standards across complex shareholder and LLC matters
  • Ensure arguments remain consistent with procedural posture, case theory, and strategic objectives

Case Theory & Multi-Turn Strategy

  • Develop and update case theory across multiple engagement rounds
  • Adapt litigation strategy as new facts, instructions, or opposing positions emerge
  • Maintain continuity in legal arguments, factual framing, and litigation posture
  • Incorporate senior direction efficiently into subsequent drafts
  • Refine submissions without requiring extensive repeated guidance

Rubric Development & Legal Evaluation

  • Develop rubric criteria alongside litigation deliverables
  • Define what constitutes a strong and effective legal response at each stage
  • Identify essential legal issues, reasoning steps, and drafting elements
  • Establish evaluation benchmarks consistent with professional U.S. litigation standards
  • Contribute structured criteria supporting consistent review of legal work product

Procedural & Factual Issue Identification

  • Identify ambiguities, missing facts, procedural hurdles, and unresolved legal questions
  • Flag issues requiring clarification or direction from senior contributors or project leads
  • Distinguish reasonable assumptions from matters requiring further factual development
  • Assess whether additional authority, evidence, or procedural analysis is required
  • Maintain disciplined legal reasoning across incomplete or evolving scenarios

Ideal Profile

  • Current or previous bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Minimum of 3 years of substantive post-JD litigation experience
  • Hands-on experience with legal drafting, discovery, and motion practice
  • Specialised background in shareholder or LLC litigation
  • Experience with disputes involving fiduciary duties, owner oppression, buyouts, governance, or conflicts between owners and entities
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality litigation work product in complex ownership disputes
  • Strong understanding of case theory, litigation strategy, and procedural analysis
  • Exceptional written English and command of professional legal drafting and argumentation
  • Ability to incorporate senior direction and feedback quickly while maintaining high-quality output
  • Federal court experience or exposure to multiple commercial litigation matter types is beneficial
  • Previous participation in AI-related legal training or evaluation projects is advantageous but not required

  • Compensation: $100–$100/hour
  • Work will involve shareholder and LLC litigation analysis, legal drafting, discovery, motion practice, case-theory development, and rubric creation
  • Strong hands-on litigation and ownership-dispute experience is central to this engagement
  • Work must be based exclusively on public or synthetic case materials
  • Selected professionals should be prepared to begin their first tasks within approximately 24–48 hours of completing onboarding
  • Roles are typically filled within approximately 48 hours
  • Project scope, dispute complexity, drafting requirements, and evaluation standards may evolve depending on project needs
  • Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, law firm, institution, or other third party
