We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced U.S. litigation attorneys with strong expertise in commercial real estate disputes, legal drafting, motion practice, discovery, case-theory development, and complex litigation analysis to contribute to an advanced AI training and legal evaluation project.
Selected professionals will develop realistic litigation work product across evolving commercial real estate disputes, respond to opposing positions over multiple rounds, maintain continuity in case strategy, and create structured evaluation criteria alongside their legal drafting. The work is designed to mirror real litigation practice, including iterative senior review and revision. No prior experience in AI is required.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Real Estate Litigation

Analyse evolving commercial real estate disputes and develop appropriate litigation strategies

Work across matters involving leases, transactions, development, landlord–tenant disputes, zoning, financing, and security interests

Apply substantive U.S. law and practical litigation judgement to complex factual scenarios

Maintain a coherent litigation posture as facts and opposing arguments evolve

Identify legal and procedural issues that materially affect case strategy
Litigation Drafting & Motion Practice

Draft authentic litigation work product including motions, briefs, demand letters, and discovery materials
-
Produce legal documents that reflect professional litigation standards and appropriate legal register
-
Develop arguments grounded in applicable law, factual context, and case theory
-
Address opposing positions through persuasive written advocacy

Ensure drafting remains consistent with procedural posture and strategic objectives
Multi-Turn Case Theory & Strategy

Produce turn-by-turn deliverables under senior direction

Maintain continuity in case theory, factual framing, and litigation posture across multiple rounds

Adapt arguments as new information, opposing submissions, or strategic considerations emerge

Incorporate senior feedback efficiently with minimal need for repeated redirection

Preserve consistency while making targeted changes in response to review
Rubric Development & Legal Evaluation

Develop structured rubric items alongside litigation drafts

Define criteria for evaluating strong responses to opposing counsel submissions

Identify essential legal issues, reasoning steps, and drafting elements expected in high-quality work

Apply consistent evaluation standards across complex litigation scenarios

Contribute expert judgement that improves the quality of legal AI training material
Procedural & Factual Issue Identification

Identify procedural uncertainties, factual ambiguities, and missing information

Flag issues requiring clarification from senior reviewers or project leads
-
Distinguish between assumptions that can reasonably be made and issues requiring escalation

Evaluate whether additional facts or legal authorities are needed before advancing a position

Maintain disciplined legal reasoning throughout incomplete or evolving case records
Ideal Profile
-
Active or lapsed licence as a U.S. attorney, with admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
-
Minimum of 3 years of post-JD litigation experience

Strong background in real drafting, discovery, and motion practice rather than exclusively transactional work

Demonstrated experience handling commercial real estate disputes

Relevant matters may include leases, development, landlord–tenant issues, zoning, transactions, financing, or security interests

Proven ability to draft complex litigation documents under senior or partner direction

Strong understanding of case theory, litigation strategy, and procedural analysis

Exceptional written English and command of professional legal drafting

Experience at a BigLaw, boutique, or mid-market firm is advantageous

Exposure to multiple commercial litigation matter types is beneficial

Federal court commercial litigation experience is advantageous

Previous participation in AI-related legal projects is beneficial but not required

Selected professionals should be prepared to begin their first tasks within approximately 24–48 hours of completing onboarding
