Job title:

Full-stack Developer

Job Description:

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, and you'll work with a high degree of independence. You won't be isolated, though. You'll work regularly with Sagility's technology, AI, and quality organizations. The result is real ownership over the products, backed by the engineering depth and client base of a global healthcare operations company.

What you'll do

  • Serve as lead developer on Forecast and Harvest, covering architecture, technical design, and the most consequential implementation work.
  • Enhance the products with AI-enabled features, partnering with Sagility's AI and technology teams.
  • Build and ship features end to end, from the database through the API to the Angular front end.
  • Work within Sagility's engineering, security, and compliance standards for handling protected health information.
  • Drive day-to-day technical quality on both products: code review, testing, release practices, and performance.
  • Support and enhance existing functionality alongside new development.
  • Work directly with quality, clinical, and client-facing staff to turn business requirements into working software.
  • Own production quality, including the reporting cycles our clients cannot miss.

Required

  • 5+ years building and shipping production web applications.
  • C# / .NET. Deep, current, server-side. This is the core of the role.
  • Angular with TypeScript. Component architecture, state management, and building interfaces that users work in all day.
  • SQL. Schema design, query performance, and comfort with large relational healthcare datasets.
  • Azure. App Service, Azure SQL, and related platform services.
  • Daily, demonstrated use of generative AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code as part of how you actually build, with judgment about where they help and where they don't.
  • A track record of technical ownership: driving a system end to end and setting direction without being managed into it.
  • Success working remotely. Self-directed, clear in writing, and reliable without supervision.
  • Authorized to work in the United States and residing in the U.S.

Preferred

  • Healthcare quality data: HEDIS, NCQA measure specifications, or Star Ratings.
  • Health plan or payer-side experience: quality reporting, care management, gap closure, or risk adjustment.
  • FHIR and supplemental data feeds.
  • Experience working with PHI under HIPAA.
  • Building AI features into products: retrieval, structured extraction, and evaluating model output against a ground truth.
