Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Product Analyst for a contract position with a Leading Pharmacy Benefit Manager located in Eagan, MN. This is a 9+ month contract opportunity.
Compensation: $50- $55.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:
This role serves as a collaborative, self-directed member of a Scrum team, connecting business needs, user problems, and product strategy to clear, executable solutions. The successful candidate will lead complex analysis from discovery through delivery and acceptance, ensuring work is well understood, aligned to business value, and ready for development. This position requires strong judgment and the ability to create clarity in a complex, rapidly changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead product analysis for complex initiatives from discovery through implementation and acceptance
- Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to understand user needs, business problems, desired outcomes, and product priorities
- Translate complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting analysis
- Break down epics and large initiatives into appropriately sized, testable, value-focused stories
- Ensure stories are ready for development by identifying business rules, dependencies, data needs, risks, assumptions, and edge cases
- Lead and actively participate in backlog refinement, planning, reviews, demonstrations, retrospectives, and other Scrum events
- Collaborate throughout delivery with System Engineers, Quality Engineering, and other Scrum team members to resolve questions and support shared understanding
- Evaluate completed work against approved acceptance criteria and intended business outcomes
- Identify risks, dependencies, and areas of ambiguity early, and provide informed options and recommendations
- Use data, structured analysis, and stakeholder feedback to support decisions and evaluate trade-offs
- Communicate complex information clearly to business, technical, operational, and leadership audiences
- Maintain accurate and actionable backlog information using Jira or comparable product management tools
- Mentor less-experienced Product Analysts and contribute to improvements in Product Analysis practices
Primary Requirements:
- Significant experience in product analysis, business analysis, or a related role within a product or technology delivery environment
- Experience working as an embedded member of a Scrum team and actively participating in iterative product delivery
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex analysis from discovery through delivery and acceptance
- Strong skills in problem framing, requirements analysis, user story development, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement, and epic decomposition
- Ability to connect product requirements and decisions to user needs, business priorities, and measurable value
- Experience collaborating with Product Owners, engineers, Quality Engineering, Scrum Masters, business stakeholders, and delivery partners
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-support skills
- Ability to work with autonomy while maintaining close alignment with the Scrum team, product direction, and organizational priorities
- Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environments
- Experience using Jira or a comparable backlog-management platform
- Work autonomously within a collaborative team environment, using sound judgment to determine next steps and move work forward with limited direction
- Lead analysis for complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple systems, stakeholders, or delivery teams
- Anticipate downstream impacts, dependencies, operational considerations, and delivery risks
- Build trusted relationships across business, product, technology, operations, and external partner groups
Desired Skills:
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, or another highly regulated industry
- Experience supporting contact center products, platforms, operations, workflows, or customer-service capabilities
- Experience with complex products involving multiple systems, integrations, data dependencies, stakeholders, or external partners
