Business Analyst - Remote

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst for a contract position with an Agricultural Cooperative located in Inver Grove Heights, MN. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. This position is 100% remote.

Compensation: $88.00 - $91.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
In this role, you will be the primary Business Analyst supporting a project to migrate CRM capabilities. You will initially lead the effort to fully document the current platform, assist in dispositioning discussions, and help execute the overall migration. You will work directly with the Product Owner, Delivery Manager and Project Manager throughout this engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the discovery effort to fully document the existing CRM system, including its capabilities, workflows, and dependencies, using techniques such as process mapping and gap analysis
• Participate in and help facilitate discussions to disposition each capability, supporting decisions on where and how each will be migrated
• Translate discovery findings and disposition decisions into a detailed project plan, and support execution of that plan, including Epics, Features, User Stories, and acceptance criteria within ADO
• Identify and recommend process or application improvements that align with the target-state technology solutions
• Manage and help resolve project-related incidents, performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions as needed
• Create and maintain project documentation, including current-state and future-state process maps, roadmaps, use cases, and user personas, in collaboration with the Product Delivery Manager
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and apply Agile principles throughout the engagement
• Ensure IT Methodology and best practices are followed throughout the project
• Identify and communicate workplace hazards, and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations

Primary Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members
• Experience serving as a primary or lead Business Analyst on a project, including independently soliciting and documenting requirements
• Experience leading or contributing significantly to system discovery efforts, such as documenting existing processes, capabilities, and dependencies
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with developers and quality assurance analysts to deliver initiatives
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, escalating only complex or ambiguous issues
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience supporting a CRM or similar platform migration, or large-scale system transition
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing user stories and related artifacts
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
