Position Overview

The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the financial operations of franchise locations. This role manages transaction categorization, accounts payable, general ledger activity, bank and credit card reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and payroll review. The Bookkeeper will also communicate directly with franchise owners regarding financial performance and reporting. 

 Key Responsibilities

• Categorize and reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant transactions.
• Record and reconcile general ledger activity from CRM platforms.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review third-party payroll processing for accuracy.
• Identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Communicate financial updates and guidance to franchise owners.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records and reporting.
• Work across multiple accounting and CRM platforms.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Ability to learn and work across multiple technology and CRM platforms.
• QuickBooks Online and/or NetSuite experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
