ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will support the performance of our digital channels across content, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), email marketing, social media and SEO. You’ll combine creativity with data and user insights to create and optimise digital experiences that increase engagement, organic visibility and lead generation.


Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, within the eSkilled Marketing department, you will work closely with the other Marketing teams to ensure our content is not only well-written but also visually brand-aligned.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Website Optimisation & Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) - 20%
  • Conversion & Funnel Optimisation: Analyse website and funnel performance to identify friction, drop-off points and opportunities to improve conversion rates across key pages and customer journeys.
  • User Behaviour Analysis: Use website analytics, heatmaps and session recordings to understand user behaviour and inform optimisation priorities. 
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Develop, execute and evaluate A/B tests across copy, calls to action, layouts, forms and other conversion elements. 
  • Landing Page & Conversion Copy: Write and optimise landing pages, headlines, calls to action, promotional banners and other website content to improve engagement, lead generation and conversions.
  • UX Improvements: Recommend improvements to website usability, navigation and conversion pathways, partnering with Web Development and UX teams to implement changes. 
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyse conversion rates, campaign performance and lead quality, presenting insights and actionable recommendations to Marketing management. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay across CRO, UX and digital marketing best practices and proactively recommend new optimisation opportunities and experiments.

Content, Web & Design - 45%
  • End-to-End Content Creation: Use AI and research to create high-quality, SEO-optimised content for blog articles, landing pages, product pages and other digital channels. 
  • Website Content Management: Write, edit and optimise website content to improve organic visibility, user experience and conversion performance. 
  • WordPress Publishing: Manage the WordPress publishing workflow, including page formatting, metadata, internal links and quality assurance to ensure content is published accurately and on schedule. 
  • Graphic Design: Create basic marketing assets such as social graphics, blog headers, website banners and email graphics using Canva and Adobe Photoshop.

Email Marketing - 15%
  • Campaign Development: Create and execute email campaigns designed to nurture prospects and generate qualified leads. 
  • Conversion Optimisation: Continually improve email performance through stronger messaging, offers, calls to action, segmentation and A/B testing. 
  • Technical Execution: Manage campaign builds, spam and deliverability testing, A/B tests and list deployment. 
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor open rates, click-through rates, conversions and lead generation to identify opportunities for improvement. 
  • Research & Innovation: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and email marketing best practices to identify new campaign opportunities and improve performance. 
Social Media & Community Engagement -15%
  • Content Planning & Execution: Manage the monthly social media calendar and create content that builds brand awareness, engagement and authority. 
  • Community Management: Monitor and engage with audiences across LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube and other relevant platforms, including responding to comments and reviews. 
  • Performance Optimisation: Analyse social media performance and use insights to improve future content, reach and engagement. 
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly reports against agreed social media KPIs and provide recommendations for improvement.
SEO & Link Building - 5%
  • On-Page SEO: Apply keyword research and SEO best practices across website, landing page and blog content to improve organic search visibility. 
  • Backlink Building: Support the SEO team's link-building strategy by identifying and securing relevant, high-quality backlink opportunities. 

Ad-hoc:
  • Assist with other related tasks and projects as assigned by management


Requirements

ESSENTIAL – you must possess these skills:
  • Digital Marketing Experience: 3+ years’ experience across digital marketing, including website content, email, social media and lead generation. 
  • Marketing Copywriting, Editing & SEO: Strong copywriting, proofreading and SEO skills, with experience creating and optimising persuasive content for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, advertising and social media to improve search visibility, engagement and conversions.
  • Website & Analytics Skills: Experience using GA4, Microsoft Clarity (or an alternative), with other tools to analyse traffic, user behaviour, funnel performance and conversion rates. Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and conversion barriers, diagnose performance issues, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve website performance and lead generation.
  • Design Skills: Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Canva to create and edit marketing assets, including social tiles, banners and headers. 
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy across copy, design, website content and campaign execution, with a strong ability to identify errors, inconsistencies and quality issues before work goes live.

DESIRABLE – bonus if you possess these skills:
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation: Experience identifying conversion opportunities, improving landing pages and customer journeys, and using data and user behaviour insights to increase leads and conversions.
  • AI Usage: Experience using ChatGPT or similar AI tools for ideation, content writing, reporting and analysis to drive efficiency.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with WordPress publishing, Active Campaign, or basic HTML for email.
  • Education: Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
