Senior Manager, Clinical Product Strategy & Operations

We have an outstanding opportunity for a strategic leader & operator to join our Healthspire Payor Solutions Product team focusing on Cardiometabolic products.

About The Role:

We are seeking a strategic Senior Manager with a track record of designing, launching and operating programs to join Healthspire product to lead and shape the future of Healthspire’s obesity solutions.

Obesity is recognized by the American Medical Association (AMA) as chronic disease resulting from genetic, biological, and environmental factors. A common condition, 40% of American adults have obesity and the GLP-1 market is expected to reach $95B by 2030.

As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for directing operations of the team and oversees the product portfolio, conducting market analysis, and driving new product development. Collaborates cross-functionally, sets pricing and promotion strategies, measures performance, and ensures regulatory compliance to achieve business objectives and drive growth in the competitive pharmacy retail industry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishes procedures for the development of the overall product strategy, including market analysis, customer research, and competitive intelligence.

  • Prioritizes initiatives, defines product features, and establishes a roadmap that aligns with market demands and business objectives.

  • Assesses customer needs, preferences, and pain points to guide product decision-making and ensure customer-centric product development.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define product vision, identify target markets, and set strategic goals for the product portfolio.

  • Establishes product requirements as well as feature prioritization, working closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and market demands.

  • Guides product performance, monitors market trends, and makes data-driven decisions regarding product enhancements, updates, or retirement to optimize the product portfolio.

  • Promotes cross-functional communication and coordination, ensuring effective collaboration to achieve product goals.

  • Identifies unique value propositions, defines product positioning, and ensures effective communication of product features and benefits to customers and the market.

  • Provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to product managers and other team members by building and developing high-performing product teams, promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration, and providing coaching and career development opportunities.

  • Design, enhance, and manage patient and clinician experiences, processes, protocols, assessments, and workflows

  • Develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key suppliers and matrix partners to drive partnership and performance

  • Evaluate KPI and SLA performance, measuring program efficacy to formulate and subsequently deliver upon quality improvement plans  

  • Leverage data-driven insights and a deep understanding of patient and client needs and market dynamics to identify and prioritize items enhancement

  • Conducting deep dive quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement

  • Own the end-to-end product Benefit Integration component, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with long‑term business goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in product management/development, product operations & strategy, or program management within the healthcare space preferably at a health tech, tech-enabled provider, or Payor/PBM organization

  • 7+ years of experience managing multiple projects and prioritizing work based on impact and team priorities

  • 5+ years of experience developing analyses, presentations, and support materials to successfully drive product strategy decisions and deliver operational process change

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic thinking including quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • 5+ years of making informed, data-driven decisions, with a strong emphasis on translating data insights into actionable strategies.

  • 4+ years of experience managing relationships at a senior level; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels both within CVS Health and outside of the organization

  • 2+ years managing one or more employees  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within the care delivery and management industry

  • Experience in management consulting

  • Expertise in vendor contracting and relationship management

  • Master’s or other advanced degree is preferred

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required; may consider comparable work experience

Location

This position can work remotely from home or office from one of the CVS Health corporate locations. Occasional travel is required (10-20%)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $165,954.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
