About Out Summer Internship Program

Our Summer Internship Program is designed for students entering their final year of university who are eager to gain meaningful, real-world experience in a fast paced, collaborative, and professional environment.

As a Summer Intern, you'll participate in a comprehensive onboarding experience led by our University Relations team to set you up for success from day one. Throughout the program, you'll also have the opportunity to participate in weekly professional development sessions, networking events, social activities, and other engaging experienced designed to support your personal and professional growth.

The program takes place from June – August 2027 (10-week program).

Your Role

As a Compensation Intern, you’ll own a meaningful piece of work within the People & Culture team focused on simplifying compensation data, processes, or insights for the business. You’ll work with compensation team members, People Partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to better understand complex people and pay-related challenges, analyse information, and translate findings into clear, practical recommendations.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with numbers, curious about how AI can improve the employee or business experience, and able to turn complex data concepts into simple conclusions that support smooth adoption and implementation across Veeam. You’ll be expected to ask thoughtful questions, identify opportunities for improvement, use data and AI-enabled tools where appropriate, and develop creative solutions that can be tested and implemented.

Requirements

  • Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science or another related field
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented work ethic and data analysis skills.
  • Willingness to learn about technology
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Teams, Word and more.
  • Demonstrate use of AI tooling for data analysis
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter

The pay range posted is an hourly rate of base pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

$20- $25 USD
