Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Field Operations Service Manager based in Orlando, FL, or remotely within the southeastern United States. The Field Operations Service Manager is responsible for overseeing service operations, driving team performance, and supporting exceptional customer satisfaction across the Southeast region. 

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $85,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data, plus a sales incentive compensation plan) Plus a generous short term incentive bonus. What you will do

  • Oversee the daily scheduling and routing of field technicians for service calls and maintenance visits, manage related invoicing activities, and prepare service quotes generated from service and preventive maintenance opportunities
  • Prioritize and coordinate service operations by assigning work based on customer urgency, contractual service level agreements (SLA), technician skill set, and geographic efficiency
  • Directly supervise and lead the dispatch team by providing training, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Work closely with the warehouse and administrative teams to ensure that all necessary administrative tasks and stock transfers required from the technicians are complete
  • Accurately complete administrative processes associated with assigned technicians (payroll, time charging, training, compliance, etc.)

What we require

  • 2+ years’ experience in the automatic door industry  
  • 2+ years management or supervisory experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

What we prefer

  • AAADM Certification
  • 2+ years’ experience servicing automatic doors
  • OSHA certification
