Sales Representative - Access Automation Solutions - Dallas TX

Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Sales Representative based in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area for our Access Automation Solutions business. dormakaba offers many automatic door systems including automatic swing doors, sliding doors, and revolving door systems to end users such as hospitals,  hotels, airports, and property management firms. This individual is responsible for the overall end user sales and profitability in their assigned territory. This is a field sales role.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $90,000 - $100,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) What you will do

• Develop a plan for managing the assigned territory and accounts to meet sales targets through effective execution of the plan
• Grow the number of planned maintenance contracts, billable service calls, and end user specifications for the territory
• Maintain current technical product-related knowledge and stay abreast of industry/territory knowledge and trends
• Be an expert on codes and standards applicable to the products being sold and adapt to change in the marketplace
• Work closely with other sales staff by attending customer meetings - on site and virtually
• Build relationships with customers and collaborate with the sales team to improve ability to take care of the customer and meet sales goals

What we require

• High school or equivalent
• Automatic door industry experience
• 50% travel

What we prefer

• 2+ years of sales experience  
• End user sales experience
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management Software (Salesforce)
