The Team: The Store Programs / Field Escalation Team supports Field Leadership and Stores with guidance and resources for non-merchandise sales driving strategies. We work directly with TJ Maxx and Marshalls leadership to ensure a consistent escalation process that effectively addresses and resolves critical customer-facing issues and protects our brand reputation. The Opportunity: Marmaxx Store Operations at TJX is offering co-op opportunities at our new location in Framingham, MA to students seeking to learn, grow, and contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic organization. What we offer: • The opportunity to monitor test stores and evaluate the success of these programs using statistical data and metrics. • Work with several functional areas of TJX such as Global Payments, Global Communications, Customer Service and our Field Teams. • Interaction with all levels of Home Office management. • Analyze Gift Card sales, project future sales and identify opportunity to simplify and streamline program / process. • Work with Beverage Vendor on improvement with existing business while exploring new business opportunities to drive incremental profitable sales growth. • Attend Field Escalation Team meetings focused on de-escalation of sensitive issues and determining appropriate resolution. The Store Programs / FET Co-op will receive supervision and guidance, hands-on projects to facilitate learning, while given a high degree of creativity - providing the tools for success in a global Fortune 100 corporate environment. A high performing co-op may be presented the opportunity to experience a return co-op or join in a Full-Time role upon graduation. Who We Are Looking For: We are looking for current students who are highly motivated self-starters, with the ability to prioritize effectively, be proactive and flexible, and demonstrate a strong desire for learning in a fast-paced Store Operations environment. Additional skills include: • Students pursuing a degree in Communication, Business or Finance preferred but not required. • Previous co-op experience preferred but not required. • Willingness to seek out feedback, and ability to incorporate feedback to enhance performance. • Excellent interpersonal skills, professional attitude, and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple and concurrent priorities • Ability to work independently, generate ideas and process improvements and be able to clearly articulate to the team. • Interpret and analyze performance metrics; leveraging proficiency with MS, power point and excel to articulate compelling story. • Students with proven leadership abilities and strong work ethic • Previous employment in retail a strong plus • Strong verbal and written communication skills
