Job Description:

The Opportunity: Sierra at TJX is offering co-op opportunities in our Framingham, MA offices to students seeking to learn, grow and contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic corporate organization. If you are inquisitive about how Store Operations drives store processes and reporting in order to support operations of a growing Sierra Stores Organization, then this opportunity is the right one for you! This co-op role will provide business support for critical initiatives that you will be on the ground floor developing and creating all while learning and understanding the TJX retail business operating model. You will be assigned projects that contribute to business strategy, as well as assist with daily activities within the Store Operations function. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, managers and senior leaders, to ensure execution of assigned projects and deliverables in a timely, effective and efficient manner. Responsibilities and deliverables may include but are not limited to: ⁄ Gain valuable experience through a variety of job responsibilities, projects and initiatives in Store Operations ⁄ Perform your own analysis projects ⁄ Contribute to ongoing projects to be used in developing Sierra strategy ⁄ Work cross functionally within other areas of TJX, such as Finance, Human Resources, Distribution, IT, Real Estate and Marketing ⁄ Create presentations / reports / communications for use by senior management ⁄ Interact with all levels of management What You Will Get Out of It: ⁄ Learn about the unique business model of TJX ⁄ Be part of a small team and be able to see the direct impact you have on a growing brand Who We Are Looking For: It Just Might Be You. Additional skills include: ⁄ Students who are sincerely interested in a career in Retail Store Operations ⁄ Students who have high level of curiosity ⁄ Those with proven leadership abilities with strong quantitative and analytical skills ⁄ Those who pay strong attention to details ⁄ Excellent communicators, who are able to concisely and effectively deliver results ⁄ Students who can build strong relationships with cross-functional departments ⁄ Self-starters who can manage multiple projects simultaneously Key Qualifications: ⁄ 2nd time Co-op preferred ⁄ Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics; other majors may be considered
