Job Description:

Overview: This position will work in the TJX HomeGoods and HomeSense Supply Chain Technology & Innovation group, exploring innovative technology and supporting process optimization projects within the Distribution Center operations. Position seeks to reward those that are enthusiastic about learning and developing leadership skills for driving results with teams. Co-op will complete in TJX Leadership, Lean Six Sigma and Project Management training to facilitate project work. Job Responsibility: Co-op will work in a normal office environment, typically at a desk, attends department and team meetings and participates in compiling and analyzing numerical data on a computer terminal. Local travel is minimum to complete work. Support automation projects across the HomeGoods |HomeSense Distribution Network. • Collaborate with TJX departments where there is impact to operational efficiencies, collecting and analyzing data using, but not limited to MS Excel, Power BI. • Create and deliver presentations to various levels of the organization via MS PowerPoint and Teams. • Participate in process improvement projects, leveraging problem solving methodology (DMAIC preferred). • Support research that identifies automation improvement, AI, and innovation opportunities in the HG|HS Distribution Supply Chain. • Provide project planning support using Program/Project Management techniques which includes identifying project metrics, providing methods to validate project solutions. Who we are looking for: Candidate should be working towards Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Engineering. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) problem solving methodology and techniques, with demonstrated skills in Project Management. • Good analytical and critical thinking skills to provide solutions; ability to leverage prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environment to make effective decisions, revise business strategies to support the vision of the organization. • Good organizational and time management skills; ability to implement and manage details, prioritize, multi-task and sometimes work under time pressure; ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Good organizational development skills including change management, time management; ability to implement and manage details, prioritize, multi-task and sometimes work under time pressure; ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Ability to develop and build relationships with internal and external partners, influence team members and help prioritize activities and resources to meet the organization’s needs; build rapport and credibility to be a trusted team member. • Must have experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI optional.
