Job Description:

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and making a real impact. In this role, you'll help deliver reward services to employees across bp, ensuring data accuracy, operational excellence, and secure digital experiences. AI, automation, and smarter use of technology are key priorities for the team, and you'll help identify opportunities to simplify work, improve controls, and create more employee-focused reward experiences globally.

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and reliable reward operations, ensuring employees receive timely, consistent support and maintaining confidence in bp's people services.
  • Maintain high-quality reward data and payroll alignment, reducing errors, preventing rework, and supporting effective decision-making and reporting.
  • Resolve operational issues and service disruptions to conclusion, minimizing business impact and improving the employee and stakeholder experience.
  • Build effective partnerships with vendors and internal stakeholders that enable consistent service delivery, clear accountability, and timely resolution of escalated issues.
  • Drive measurable improvements in reward operations, strengthening efficiency, simplifying processes, and enhancing the overall employee experience.
  • Support the use of AI, automation, and digital tools to reduce manual effort, improve service quality, strengthen controls, and unlock better insight from reward data and processes.
  • Maintain compliance with digital security, privacy, and governance requirements, protecting employee data and reducing operational risk across the reward technology landscape.
  • Develop and sustain robust process and knowledge documentation that supports operational resilience, consistency, and effective service continuity.

Essential requirements

  • Experience supporting the administration of reward, HR, payroll, or other operational people processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain high-volume data accurately, with a strong record of identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
  • Experience investigating and resolving operational issues, service requests, or supplier escalations to successful conclusion.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders, suppliers, or service providers to deliver agreed outcomes and service levels.
  • Ability to analyse information, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to operational challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain issues clearly and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Experience working with business systems, technology platforms, or digital tools to support operational service delivery.
  • Interest in AI, automation, and emerging digital tools, with a desire to explore how they can improve operational efficiency, data quality, employee experience, and decision-making.

Desirable requirements

  • Experience with reward, employee experience, or people service platforms.
  • Understanding of payroll processes and system integrations.
  • Exposure to data privacy, security, risk, or governance requirements in a corporate environment.
  • Experience working within a global or geographically distributed operating model.
  • Experience working with third-party technology or service providers.
  • Experience using automation, analytics, workflow tools, or AI-enabled technology to improve processes or service delivery.
